A death….café? What in the world is that?
Death Café Sunday, February 25 @ 3:00 pm
Desmond Fish Library
A Death Cafe part of a worldwide movementto promote open discussion of death, dying, and mourning (more than 17,000 death cafés have been held worldwide since the idea’s inception in 2011) in a welcoming, communal environment, a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes.
It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session, meant to create time to discuss death and its attendant issues without expectations or judgments.
In Death Café tradition, refreshments will be provided.
Registration for this event is free, but we ask that you register online prior to the event. Please register early; there are a limited number of seats.
Visit the Library Event page and register from there.
