New or Pending Programs from Putnam County

Putnam County (PART) Transit Survey

In January 2026, the Putnam County Department of Planning, Development and Public Transportation began a comprehensive, countywide study of the County’s public transit system. With the assistance of LaBella Associates, the study will evaluate existing transit services and identify future needs including ways to expand and enhance our system.  They are seeking the public’s input on the study via an online survey. Please click on the link below to access the PDF file flyer to participate the online survey.

Putnam County's Community Paramedicine Program

Putnam County has instituted a Community Paramedicine program which will bring medical services to people in their homes. This should be a great help to people who cannot easily leave their homes.

The Community Paramedicine Hotline: (914) 968-8000.
