How to Avoid Scams and Identity Theft (first Thursdays with PAAH)

Scammers are getting craftier, and sometimes scams are hard to identify. The library is here to help! Learn about a range of common scams – from fake emails to robocalls – and some tips and tricks to avoid them and protect your identity. This talk will be led by our very own Digital Services Librarian, Ryan Biracree.

Every first Thursday, Philipstown Aging at Home is collaborating with the Desmond-Fish Public Library to create programming aimed to bring seniors together for social interactions and learning opportunities. Each month’s session will focus on a different topics including wills and trusts, identity theft, navigating medicare, avoiding falls, volunteer opportunities, and more!

Please register to let us know you plan on attending.
